• Do I need a credit card for the trial?

  No. New accounts get a 7-day trial of Solo or Studio without a credit card. Create your account to start using the workspace. You choose whether to subscribe.

• What happens when my trial ends?

  Full workspace access requires an active trial or subscription. If your trial expires, you can extend it by seven days once, for 14 days total, or subscribe to continue. There is no automatic charge from starting a no-card trial.

• Do my clients need an account?

  No. Clients open your shared invoice or quote link in their browser. They can review the document without signing up. Quotes can also be accepted or declined online. Both plans include unlimited client links.

• How do clients pay, and how is payment recorded?

  Add your bank details or an external payment link to the invoice. Your client pays through that bank or provider. When you receive payment, record it in NeatInvoice to update the invoice balance. NeatInvoice does not process payments or automatically verify them with your bank.

• What counts toward the email limit?

  Invoices you manually email from the app count toward 100 invoice emails to clients per month on Solo or 300 invoice emails to clients per month on Studio. Automatic payment reminders and recurring invoice emails are separate from this monthly limit. Sharing client links yourself is unlimited.

• Which plan should I choose?

  Choose Solo if you manage billing yourself for 1 business name. Choose Studio for shared billing with up to 5 people total, owner included, or up to 5 business names. Each business name can have its own logo, sender details, payment instructions, and numbering. Both plans include unlimited invoices and quotes, activity tracking, reminders, and recurring invoices.

• How do view tracking and reminders work?

  NeatInvoice records when a shared invoice link is opened. Opens from the same browser within an hour count as one view. An open does not mean the client approved or paid the invoice. You can schedule up to three reminders after the due date, with your choice of timing and wording. They are sent only for sent or late invoices that are still unpaid and have a due date.

• Can I make a one-off invoice without signing up?
