Editorial policy
Standards used for NeatInvoice articles, guides, invoice templates, industry pages, and software comparisons.
Research and sourcing
We start with the user task and search intent, then prefer official government guidance, standards, and first-party product documentation. Sources are linked visibly. Jurisdiction-specific rules are identified as such.
Keyword ownership
Each acquisition page owns one distinct intent. Closely related queries are consolidated when separate pages would duplicate the same answer. We review secondary keywords against existing primary owners before publishing.
Software comparisons
Comparisons use public vendor pricing and product documentation, show where either product may fit better, and record when claims were last verified. NeatInvoice does not accept payment for rankings.
Product claims
Product behavior is checked against the current application and documentation. Publishing, sending, viewing, approval, and payment are treated as different events. NeatInvoice does not process or independently verify payments.
Legal and tax boundaries
Articles and guides provide general operational information, not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Readers should confirm requirements with local authorities or a qualified adviser.
Material updates
Visible review dates change only after substantive review. Pricing and time-sensitive comparison claims are checked against primary sources; an old verification date is a prompt to recheck, not permission to refresh the date automatically.
Corrections
Send corrections to hello@neatinvoice.app with the page URL and supporting source. We review factual issues and update material errors without hiding the correction behind a new URL.
